Who is eligible to apply?
Honduran students who demonstrate real financial need, character, perseverance, and a willingness to partner with us. For university or technical programs, you must have finished (or be finishing) high school. For secondary school support, you must have passed 9th grade and a parent must help you apply. We do not currently have high school scholarship examples on the site, but supporting students at that level is not off the table.
How much does a scholarship cover?
Awards vary by student and program. A scholarship typically helps with tuition, books, and fees. It does not cover transportation or living expenses. Every student and family also commits to contribute an agreed-upon amount each month. No one receives a completely free ride — partnership protects dignity.
What documents do I need to apply?
Your most recent transcript or grade report, an identity document, a photo, and — if you already have one — your university acceptance letter. You can upload these directly in the application form.
When will I hear back?
We review applications as they arrive and follow up by email or WhatsApp. If we need more information or want to schedule a conversation, we will contact you using the details you provide.
What is expected of me once I receive a scholarship?
Keep your grades up, submit a short progress update and your receipts each month, stay in contact with your mentor, complete two internal courses per year, and let us know early when something is going wrong. We would much rather help than be surprised.
